It has its own administration and a completely different ground reality.

2️⃣ Pahalgam to Leh is over 500 km away​
That’s a 14+ hour mountain drive — a different region altogether.

3️⃣ No history of unrest in Ladakh​
There's been no history of disputes and attacks.
